Discussion Post 1...

STEROIDS FOR COMBAT TROOPS

I have been asking around about this lately.   Most people understand that if you are in the military and have a job that entails you going into combat you should be in great shape so that if it comes down to your physical fitness versus the enemy's physical fitness you'll be in better shape and kill your enemy.  I am not a proponent of steroids and to be 100% honest I really don't know that much about them other than they are illegal in this country and I can't do them.  The discussion is, should combat athletes be allowed to do steroids in order to enhance combat capabilities?

Yoked enough for combat?

Jay Han

There was so much to write about today that I had to come up with the best one. I had a fuckload of stuff to choose from, too! I could have talked about how I love this terrible song ===>>> or that I finally have an ITC date. I could have talked about quitting Olympic Weightlifting because of my pending ITC date. Or that I recently decided Steroids for those going to combat might not be a terrible idea because you should be physically better than your opponent (maybe a topic for later, yeah?). I also saw Dicky A fuckstomp a Powerlifting competition this weekend. What I really wanted to talk about was The Jay Han.

The WarMaster Jay Han preparing for battle.

The idea came from when I found out I had an ITC date. Coach Jay Han made me stop O-lifting. "Fine." I said. He said I could dew it three days a week, but I have just dedicated that time to raw strength. I went on to do the CFNB metcons. Swim Master Jay Han said that wasn't enough and I needed to be in the pool more. Then this morning I walked in and all hell broke lose!!!

Jay Han is a Coach, Prophet, Student, Warmaster, Machine Gunner, Outdoorsman, CrossFitter and all around hard ass. Needless to say I fully respect his knowledge and enthusiasm for functional exericising... The excitement happened when he handed me THE EXERCISE REGIME HANDED DOWN FROM GOD!!! This is a very strict regiment!!! There is no room for error or going wayward with this. To do so would be to commit heresy against the Gods of exercise!

Monday
-Swim
-Strength - Back Squat
- Strict Press

Tuesday
-Run or Ruck
-WOD

Wednesday
-Swim
-Strength - Deadlift
- Bench Press

Thursday - I claim Reece Shavas on this day. WarMaster Jay will work on this one as well.

Friday
-Swim
-Strength - Back Squat
- Bench Press

Saturday
- WOD
- The Gods have also dictated YOGA on this date.

I hate having to continue to change my training style but since the Warmaster Jay Han prophet of exercise has deemed it necessary, I must comply. I know I have CrossFit competition to prepare for Dicky A, but when the God's hand down a Grand Tome of exercise to the Warmaster, you are forced to accept the decision.
